We are now full time cruisers. Come join us on our journey as we discover new places and people and have the time of our lives ! Our home port is Saugatuck MI. We plan to transit the Great Lakes: Michigan, Huron and Erie. Then exit through the Erie Canal into the Hudson River....and head south to warmer weather for the foreseeable future.We raised 4 children who are off and about living wonderful lives. We have several grandchildren as a result of their loving relationships.
We decided a number of years ago to spend the first part of our retirement years living aboard our Passport 40 sailboat and to travel about indefinitely. In preparation for this, we saved like crazy, retrofitted our 1987 sailboat to meet our 2015 needs, then took early retirements.
Mr. K was adopted by a local family where he is loved and cared for... very thankful to them. We sold our family home of over 25 years to a lovely young family. We trust they will enjoy their new home as much as we did.For now, we are ready for what life has in store for us next...
